St Mary's Street, Gdansk
Locally known as ul. Mariacka, this cobbled street lined with amber galleries and cafes, runs from St. Mary's Church to the Motława River. It was badly damaged during WWII but carefully reconstructed. Note the ornate gargoyle rain gutters on the gabled terraced houses and the exquisite detail of the railings and front stoops. The stone terraces lining the street are characteristic of Gdańsk Old Town. (inyourpocket.com)
